BBEF's 1kW Solid State Digital TV Transmitter Passed Test And Appraisal of The State Administration of Radio, Film and TV  

December 29, 2001---- Today, 1kW solid-state digital TV transmitter developed by BBEF passed appraisal presided over by Science And Technology Department of The State Administration of Radio, Film & TV.

The meeting was held in CCTV Transmitting Tower. Officials from The State Development Planning Commission, The State Administration of Radio, Film & TV, Beijing Development commission etc attended the meeting.

Mr. Guo Yan-Sheng, Director General of Science And Technology Department of The State Administration of Radio, Film & TV, acted as the Chairman of the Appraisal Committee. The Committee includes 14 famous experts from The State Administration of Radio, Film & TV, Academy of Broadcasting Science, Academy of Metrology Science, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing Broadcast University, Beijing TV Station, No 3 Research Institute of Ministry of Information Industry, Equipment Factory of MRFT etc.

At the meeting, members of the Appraisal Committee checked all data of the transmitter including Technology Report by BBEF, Test Report by Metrology & Test Center of Radio & TV, and Searching Report by Literature And Information Center of The Chinese Academy of Science. Then all participants observed the transmitter which is mounted on the CCTV Tower. After discussion, the Committee passed Appraisal.
